One of the most important commitments made during the 2015 was the commitment to reform Canada’s environmental assessment processes.
As Parliamentary Secretary to Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, I have been very privilege to be an active part of the discussions and deliberations that went into the reforms that our government announced last week. These are processes in which I, as many North Vancouverites, feel a very strong attachment. I am very proud of the legislative proposals we have brought forward – proposals that are based on extensive consultations with Canadians and on good common sense.
